My name is Josh Petry. I’m what you might call a serial entrepreneur. I love to think of the next big thing, and put my best foot forward. Although, my best foot forward has taken me backwards many times! In my personal life I am a Chemical Operator/Lab Analyst.
I’m a homebody, yet love going to the beach with my beautiful family to our second home (a camper.) My family is the most important thing. I have a beautiful wife who is my absolute best friend, and two amazing children who keep me on my toes and give me an unfathomable amount of anxiety in this crazy world! I love video games, sports, food, ball card collecting, donuts, and fruit snacks.
I am also like the Clark Griswold when it comes to the ideas and light bulbs in my head! I have high hopes, great ideas, and even more failures! To quote the great Beverly D’angelo “You set expectations that no family could live up to!” But in this case, it’s the expectation of this hobby/myself.

The reason I have always done what I have done is for the people who are from the same area I am from. I wanted to be the “only” guy doing what I was doing. Whether that be traveling to cover the New Orleans Saints/Pelicans in the same weekend, to covering Atlanta Hawks Media Day, all the way back home to cover as many WVU home games as I can. Not to mention, their bitter rival (Pitt Basketball) which is a beautiful place, by the way!
I have been in the same locker room and press conferences with some of the biggest names in sports; Anthony Davis, Steph Curry, Drew Brees, J.J Watt, DeAndre Hopkins, etc.! Radio has also opened up many opportunities for me as well, but that discussion is also highlighted in the aforementioned blog above. We now take a look into the future. Not only for myself personally, but for this site of mine as well.
The next two endeavors that have gauged my interest will give you a most unorthodox look into my mind. Hence the “Serial Entrepreneur!” 1. Hosting autograph events with wrestlers, athletes, and child actors from our favorite sports movies. 2. Opening my own online store that will sell ball cards, hobby boxes, t-shirts/hoodies, sports memorabilia, etc…
Now, what do these two have in common? Absolutely nothing! For a couple years I have been a middle man within these autograph events by negotiating, arranging, planning them due to the fact that I have been blessed to have made contacts along my travels thus far. I will now be the host of such events throughout Charleston, WV and surrounding areas; names like former wrestlers Scott Hall, DDP, Steiner Brothers, Raven, Konnan, all the way to former NFL’er Ickey Woods!
