This subject highly pisses me off! The name “Washington Redskins” hasn’t been an issue in the past, and now all of a sudden someone says that it’s offensive. So that means politics and idiots, or is that the same thing? Have formed a “Band Of Idiots”, and are calling for the name “Redskins” to be changed.
It’s sad that people in Washington have nothing better to do than worry about an NFL franchise’s name that has been around for years! I guess that they’ll get around to the Gaza situation, world hunger, and blaming the Russians for downing planes later. First order of business is to change one name! If you change the Redskins name, why don’t you clean house and do away with all Cowboys, Aztecs, Seminoles, etc. Let’s see how that works out for you. If I was a betting man I would say that this has nothing to do with someone of Indian decent coming out, and saying that it was offensive!
In case you forgot, we “kind of” took their land so if you ask me It would be kind of the right thing to do by honoring the name, and shutting the hell up about it!
